Valli Wines

Valli, founded by pioneering Otago winemaker Grant Taylor, is a testament to his passion for Pinot Noir. Since 1993, Grant has been crafting wines in Otago, witnessing its growth from just 20 hectares to over 2,000. Having produced the inaugural wines for several iconic Otago wineries, Grant now concentrates on his own venture, Valli.

In 1998, Grant established Valli in honor of his great-great-grandfather, Giuseppe Valli, an Italian winemaker. He sought to create genuine, intensely pure wines representing Otago's subregions, a groundbreaking endeavor for the area. The unfolding subregional narrative now marks an exciting new chapter in Otago's wine history.

In 2015, renowned Otago winemaker Jen Parr joined Grant, and together they aim to produce wines that exude honesty, integrity, and a true sense of place.
