Eisele Vineyard
Since 1971, Eisele Vineyard has been producing some of California's most age-worthy and intensely flavored Cabernet Sauvignons. Located near Calistoga's northern end in Napa Valley, this 38-acre vineyard lies on an alluvial fan, shielded by the Palisades Mountains and cooled by westerly breezes from the Chalk Hill Gap. The well-drained, cobbly soils yield a low-output crop of exceptionally concentrated fruit.
Wines from this remarkable location offer a unique blend of bold character, distinct flavors, and fine textures. They have deep concentration without heaviness and develop impressive complexity with age. Initially planted with Zinfandel and Riesling in the 1880s, the vineyard has been continuously cultivated, with the first Cabernet planted in 1964.
